| Commissioned by the Wakefield Schools Wind Orchestra in 1996, this six movement concert suite features solos from throughout the ensemble. The movements are;- Rush Hour, Home Alone, (solo clarinet jazz blues feature,) Chatter, Lullaby, (oboe solo,) Dance Time, and Daybreak, (flute feature). Instrumentation is;- piccolo, 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 4 clarinets, bass clarinet, 2 bassoons, alto saxophone or horn, timpani and 3 percussion. Standard is between grade 6 to 8 with some involved section and ensemble rehearsal needed. |

| Double Concerto |

| A 3 movement concerto for Flute and Oboe with a similar instrumentation to Evening Music, solo parts are grade 7 to 8 standard. The movements are;- Double Top, fanfare like introduction followed by marching theme with solo obligato figures from the soloists. Double Two to Double Three, flowing melodies in the solo parts in 4/4 and 6/4. Double To Finish, cadenza from soloists and percussion leads into a driving Samba from the ensemble. |

| Lively Samba with the percussion section of 3 or 4 players (especially xylophone) taking most of the lead. Instrumentation as above. |
